Description

TME is happy to offer this incredible sounding Collings 0. The back and sides are AAA-graded Brazilian Rosewood, the top is German Spruce (a beautiful piece) and the guitar sports Collings' varnish finish (we don't see that often these days, though playing a few chords on this guitar reminded us what the fuss was about). There are several other handsome cosmetic touches: this is (essentially) a style-2H guitar, but it's got tortoise binding instead of the normal ivoroid. The standard zig-zag backstrip has been replaced with the zipper-style material used on Collings' SJ; and the gold Waverly tuners have been outfitted with fossilized ivory buttons. While perhaps not dead mint, the guitar remains in very good condition ... and, it bears repeating, this thing sounds amazing. Have a listen as Eduardo Mercuri plays it at the video tab. With its original TKL case & Small Dog Case Cover.
