Description

Our friends at Collings surprised us with this custom-built OM1, made from a special set of highly flamed Spanish Cedar and a torrefied Sitka Spruce top! When Spanish Cedar was on the regular options list at Collings, we built lots of guitars with it -- and as a stand-in for Mahogany, it works like gangbusters. Not only is it visually stunning stuff, but it's very light weight ~ making resonant and responsive guitars. This OM1 is no exception. Wide open, shimmery and powerful, it's got a woody chime that will appeal to flatpickers and fingerpickers alike. Though it's an understated guitar when seen from a few feet away, the tone of this one has turned heads already -- and to call it a shop favorite right now would be a big understatement. Priced with TKL hard case from Collings!
