Description

If you're looking for a player's-grade Martin D-18 that's well setup and ready to go, consider this well-loved beauty from 1966. This isn't a guitar for someone who's squeamish about condition: there's plenty of playwear and a couple repaired top cracks (a noticeable one between bridge and end wedge, and the ubiquitous pickguard crack found on many old Martins). The bridge area exhibits some noticeable belly but it's stable.  Recently setup and inspected by luthier Glen Nichols of Retrograde Guitars, this old D-18 plays great and exhibits a little more boom than you'd expect from a late 60's example (it's very lightweight). Priced with hard case.
