Description

If anyone could take focused, mid-range mahogany and craft it into a guitar with the kind of rich sustain you'd expect from rosewood, it's undoubtedly Kevin Ryan. This beautiful Paradiso Grand Concert is a welcome diversion from the rosewood, cocobolo and walnut we typically see on his guitars. Each note is incredibly clear, distinct, and well-balanced up and down the neck, for a sound that is as well-suited to complex fingerstyle arrangements as it is to flatpicked solos. A contemporary update to the Mission model, the Grand Concert sits between his Grand Parlor and Grand Soloist designs, with a slightly smaller body that gives comfortable playability, and an extended 25.7" scale length that ensures there's no sacrifice in tone or projection. The Engelmann spruce top ensures a quick, rounded response (the Innovation Suite certainly adds to that, as well). Priced with a Calton case.
