Description

We don't think it's hyperbole to say that Santa Cruz has achieved the best of both worlds with their OM Grands, especially when topped with powerful Adirondack spruce. Reminiscent of Martin's 0000, the OM Grand's slightly larger body size adds a notable boost in bass and projection. Flatpickers and strummers will be delighted to have a more commanding voice in ensemble settings, while fingerstylists get more volume with no loss in tone or nuance. And rosewood's pianistic note separation and warmth comes across even better in this larger package than in a standard OM. Overall, this is just a fantastically versatile guitar, and yet another great representation of Santa Cruz's craftmanship. Have a listen as TME's Lindsay Straw demonstrates its capabilities for hybrid picking, flatpicking vocal accompaniment. Priced with Ameritage hard case.
