Description

The new Taylor 512CE Limited is a brilliant & warm sounding Grand Concert, perfect for a fingerstyle player looking for a multi-use guitar that can pwer through a mix when plugged in. From Taylor:

Hawaiian koa and Western red cedar is a delightful tonewood combination that we haven’t utilized in years, so getting to pair them up in this limited edition Grand Concert was an exciting opportunity. Cedar’s soft-touch response and low-end warmth makes it an ideal counterbalance as a guitar top with back and sides of koa, since the Hawaiian tonewood tends to be brighter and more articulate. The 12-fret configuration makes a difference here, since the shifted bridge position opens up greater depth and presence in the midrange, while also giving the guitar a slinky, relaxed fretting feel. Details for this model include faux tortoiseshell body binding and West African ebony fretboard binding, along with Century inlays in grained ivoroid and a shaded edgeburst finish treatment that gives the entire guitar a dark, alluring sheen. It ships with ES2 electronics in a deluxe hardshell case.
