Description

"My passion for restoring and building instruments began in 1982. I have worked for numerous artists who have shaped and inspired the guitars I build today. My designs offer the revered tones and iconic vibe found in great vintage instruments, coupled with refined solid construction, boutique electronics and custom feel." - Bill Asher

Using the legendary Fender T-style guitars as a leaping off point, Bill Asher's T-Deluxe model sports an offset body which balances beautifully and adds a more deluxe feel than your average Telecaster can deliver. What does remain is the versatility of a great Tele pushed even a touch further with the inclusion of Asher's own wonderful T-Blade pickups.

Weighing in at just under 7lbs even, this T-Deluxe is just a joy to play. We can't overstate how great the neck feels. Large frets (6155) coupled with a worn, vintage feeling C carve (1 5/8" nut) yield a fast and ultra comfortable carve. Just killer.

Played acoustically, this guitar has a lively response and tons of snap & sustain. The C shaped neck carve and 12" radius neck feels incredible.

Plugged in there is plenty of classic Tele twang and bite in the bridge position and a beautifully hollow, round, Strat neck pickup-like tone via the neck pickup. Mix in a 11 position Tonestyler-esq circuit (chicken head knob), which acts much like a wah-wah pedal, and you can achieve anything from Tele to Junior to faux archtop to controlled (read: useable in a live setting) fuzz tones.

These are killer guitars that make meaningful improvements on a classic. Highly recommend checking one out! Priced with G&G hardshell case.
