Made a few hours north of TME in Burlington, VT, Creston builds each guitar to the customer's specs. Those customers include the likes of Kris Delmhorst, Jaleel Bunton (TV on the Radio), Mark Erelli, Ian Mackay (Fugazi), Jay Farrar (Son Volt), Zack Hickman (Josh Ritter), Henry Kaiser, Michael Millard (Froggy Botton Guitars), and dozens of others. 

This gorgeous Shorline Gold T-style features an ash body, maple neck w/rosewood board, Lollar P90s w/Emerson electronics & reversed control plate, toploading bridge, and a 1 11/16th nut width. Lots of snap, resonance, and liveliness are on tap and the neck reminds us a touch of a slightly wider, chunkier early 60s Fender carve. 

Plugged in, there's plenty of Tele twang on tap although the midrange is thicker thanks to the P90s. We're really digging the middle and neck position tones - far more useable than the classic Tele setup. Don't get us wrong, we're huge Tele fans here at TME, but let's be honest, Tele's are all about the bridge pickup. Having a P90 in the neck ups the usefulness factor dramatically.
