Description

“The Electro Sonic is one of the most unique instruments I have crafted so far.” -Bill Asher, Master Luthier

We’d have to agree with Bill on this one. This ES-1 "Jackson Browne Model" is one of the coolest electrics to come through our doors in recent memory - and - Jackson signed the control cavity. Pretty cool, right?

This particular example features neck through Okoume construction, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, maple top, Waverly style Grover Sta-tite tuners, custom gold top finish, and Curtis Novak gold foil pickups, all specs that are exclusive to this model. A hand carved Deep D profile neck with Dunlop 6155 frets feels right at home with the 12” radius and 25” scale. The simplified controls of a master volume, master tone, and 3-way pickup switch make this model very easy to navigate and dial in.

The Novak Gold Foils offer up some truly unique and exciting tonal options not normally found on standard Electro Sonic models. The neck position sports a Dearmond style gold foil that provides a clear and powerful response with enough midrange to fatten up the tone without muddying things up. The GT-V style gold foil in the bridge position is modeled after the sought after vintage Guyatone pickups, with a clear and chimey bell-like response. Both pickups play equally well into a clean amp and gained up with some nice overdrive, with a beautiful sustain that elicits singing tones for slide and single note runs.

If you’re in the market for an Electro Sonic, this is a hard guitar to ignore, and especially at this price.

Price includes original hardshell case.
