Description

Beyond its obvious stunning looks, this new Tiger Eye finished SoCo with a Master Grade Quilt Top has an incredible feel and personality. Jazz players will be right at home - we were getting some killer Bright Size Life-era Metheny tones (with the neck pickup and tone knob rolled back) - but rock and blues players would find lots to love as well. This is simply a killer semi-hollow body guitar, period.

Plugged in, there's lots of beautiful top-end/acoustic snap to each note, lots of sustain, and and a general roundness to each note. The overall feel is very luxurious - smooth, easy to play, the perfect blend of slinky crossed with taut (this is somewhat akin to the feel of a great Telecaster). The neck is like a cross between a late 50s Gibson and a skinnier 60s era Gibson. Simply put, it's chunky but not so much that it would isolate lots of players.

The fit and finish are flawless. This beauty would be equally at home through a cranked Marshall or a more formal, black tie affair. Priced with hard case by Ameritage.
