Fairbanks F-35 Limited Kalamazoo Gal #1 of 25

Sold

Description

TME is proud to have the first guitar in Dale Fairbanks' run of "Kalamazoo Gal" guitars ~ replicas of the Banner SJ owned by writer, John Thomas, whose "Kalamazoo Gals" tells the story of Gibson's wartime production years when many of their instruments were produced by a predominantly female staff. This guitar, the first of the series to leave Dale's shop, features stunning Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, an old-growth Sitka Spruce top, Madagascar Rosewood bridge and fingerboard and bridgeplate and headstock inlay made of old maple reclaimed from the Gibson factory! Simply stated: this is an incredible sounding guitar, and anyone looking for a slope shouldered dreadnought won't find a better instrument. Huge, throaty low end and stunning depth of tone and volume. Click over to the video tab and listen to Dale Fairbanks (and TME's Andy Cambria) play the guitar! Priced with Main Stage case.
