Description

Say it with me- “whoa.”

That’s what we said when this tall glass of orange metal flake goodness waltzed through our doors.

What we have here, outside of pure unadulterated eye candy, is one of Scott Heatley’s gems- the Parisienne. A borderline featherweight coming in just above 6 lbs, this guitar is exceptionally resonant and alive. The lightweight korina neck and body set the foundation for a pair of killer Wolfetone P90s that provide all of the great clarity, snap, and growl one would expect from this style of pickup. A single volume and tone circuit with a 3-way switch keeps things simple and familiar, and the lightweight aluminum wraparound tailpiece follows suit.

Playability is absolutely top notch, with an exceptionally carved full C neck, 1 11/16” nut width, medium jumbo frets (light wear), and lovely rosewood fingerboard with celluloid block inlays. Oh, and did you notice the headstock?! Find us another one cooler than this- we dare you! Tortoise H logo with a tortoise chevron set against a parchment headstock veneer, giving the perfect nod to those classic catalogue guitars of the 50s and 60s we know and love.

Scott’s building some of the best guitars out there, and we’re thrilled to be able to showcase his work. Snag this one while you can. We don’t expect it to last very long!
