Of all the incredibly cool Koll guitars we brought back from the 2017 NAMM show, this Super Glide Almighty might just be one of our favorites. The mixture of textures and materials creates a stunningly beautiful guitar that is at once almost primal, yet incredibly sophisticated at the same time. 

This Super Glide Almighty has an incredible feel, quite literally. The satin finish on this guitar creates a very tactile experience for the player as you really feel the wood under you fingers / in your hands. It's a very cool experience to play a guitar that balances both extremely high build quality (refined) and the natural, coarse feel of wood (unrefined). Even the big leaf maple top captures this vibe with it's distinct bass side markings and beautiful overall quilted figuring. Its beauty lies in its natural "imperfections", if you will, and Saul's approach here utilizes that uniqness. Very cool. 

The other visual elements of this guitar - the stamped F hole, the tortoise binding, the stunning copper pick guard, the pearl "Euro" inlays, the beautifully minimalist bridge base - all have strong personalities of their own, but never detract from the overall look of the guitar and, instead, play off of one another beautifully. 

This guitar is extremely resonant and lively. There's an almost acoustic, light-as-air vibe to its playability. Players that use a lighter tough will love how easily this guitar converts the softest touch into vibrant tone, though players who dig in a little harder certainly aren't excluded here. Dynamic and alive were the terms that came to mind when putting this SGA through its paces. 

The Arcane/Koll P90s sound phenomenal and P90 lovers will really dig what these pickups sound like in this guitar. Open and airy (but never overly polite) crossed with chimey and biting is the theme here.
