Lentz LVS Hyde Park T

Description

"I think what sets Lentz guitars apart is my experience with so many guitars over the years. I've refinished hundreds of vintage Strat's and Tele's, not to mention several 50's Les Pauls. What this is has done for me is to give me an ear for certain nuances that I found to be the essence of guitar sounds I like." -Scott Lentz

Highly anticipated Legendary Venue Series (LVS) Lentz "Hyde Park" Tele just arrived....and sold before we could even get it online!! (We do have several more Lentz currently on order - up next is a LVS Monterey S, fyi...)

New to Lentz guitars? Do a little poking around online and you'll find the name Lentz come up time and again when folks ask: "Who makes the absolute best F-style guitars?" Flawless build quality, tones that might just ruin you for other guitars, fat but comfortable neck carves, and a slinky feel - all things Lentz are acclaimed for, and this Reserve T in a beautiful Mary Kaye finish is no exception.

The Legendary Venue Series Lentz guitars utilize cabinet aged woods (25+ years is typical), lightweight one piece bodies, Brazilian rosewood fretboards made from stock dating back to 1915, pickups wound specifically for each guitar, nitrate guards, and the electronics are carefully matched in order to achieve the best tones possible - no detail is left untouched.

What you notice immediately upon strumming your first chords is the resonance of these guitars - they feel very alive and musical in your hands even without the aid of an amp. We can't overstate the importance of the "Lentz feel" - it's everything with these guitars and impossible to pinpoint, but it's addictive and one of the reasons these guitars as so highly regarded by so many.

Plugged in at rehearsal or stage volume? Stunning. 3-dimensional, nuanced, powerful tones. The tone control works extremely well allowing you to really dial in the guitar to your rig. The bridge pickup on this guitar is one of the best sounding T pickups we've heard in a long time. Imagine the horsepower of a P90 crossed with a killer, vintage Tele pickup....just incredible power and range.

Give us a call or drop an email if you'd like to reserve an incoming Lentz for yourself. These don't tend to hang around long and could easily be your only Fender-style guitar!

**Please note: You may notice a little checking in the finish by the bridge plate. This Tele suffered some weather checking in shipping due to the extreme cold we were experiencing recently (yes, it was very painful to open the case and see that). It is not an imperfection in the build.
