Probett Rocket 54 Prototype (2015)

Description

We are excited to represent the brilliant Damian Probett and currently have 5 guitars on order. Damian is considered by many in the boutique world as one of the finest builders working today - his name regularly appears in conversation along with the likes of Johan Gustavsson, Gil Yaron, and Michael Stevens - heavyweights to be sure!

In anticipation of our first batch of guitars, we're thrilled to be able to offer this killer 2015 Rocket 54 prototype! Session ace Matte Henderson brought the Rocket's concept into the world, originally as a bolt-neck guitar, and Damian brought it into the set-neck world. If you are a Strat player and Les Pauls always left you cold, though you loved the tone, this is your guitar - a 54-style Les Paul through and through with the comfort of a Strat shape.

The build quality is extraordinary. Every aspect of the build, down to the subtlest of details, is spot on. Condition? Very good. There is no fret wear, only a few finish scratches on the back (along with light buckle rash), and weather checking on the front. Playability? Flawless, and as mentioned, the tones are amazing. This is a huge sounding guitar that will easily get you into Les Paul territory - you give up nothing to a traditional Les Paul, trust us.

We can't say enough about Damian's guitars - don't mean to gush, but they're simply that good. Not to be missed if you're in any way, shape, or form a fan of the classic electric designs. Priced with original Hiscox hardshell case.
