Description

If you are reading this, you likely know that this mandolin needs no introduction. Mike Kemnitzer has been building the finest mandolins ever made since the early 70's, and they have made their way into the hands of some of the most prominent players in the world. From afar, this instrument looks like many others, but upon closer inspection you will find that every single detail radiates meticulous perfection. Although lightly built, the mandolin has not moved a bit in its more than 20 year life. The top is perfectly arched, The neck angle is exactly how it should be, and luthier Lynn Dudenbostel has ensured that it plays clean to the last fret. The instrument went back to Mike Kemnitzer a decade ago for a refinish and, other than a few light scratches, the mandolin is in exceptional shape. We think this one of the best sounding mandolins we've ever had in the shop, and would be a worthy companion for the most discerning player.
