Description

In keeping with the vision Bill Collings had for his Waterloo line of instruments, this minimally appointed, flattop mandolin harkens back to the look, feel & tone of depression-era instruments. From Waterloo: With origins dating back to the turn of the 20th century, flat-backed mandolins have long been a mainstay of Americana, country, blues, swing and a variety of other traditional styles. Thus, it should come as no surprise that the WL-M would eventually find its way into the Waterloo catalog! Featuring an elegant pear-shaped body and round soundhole, the WL-M has a clear and distinctive voice with ringing sustain, creamy midrange, and enough front-end bite to cut through any ensemble mix. As with all Waterloo instruments, the look and sound may be retro, but the feel is modern thanks to a radiused fingerboard and adjustable truss rod. Priced with TKL hard case!
