Bill Asher's T-Deluxe model is one of our all-time favorite Asher designs and this elegant Roasted Alder beauty is such a great example of this model - killer looks, build quality, tones, and playability.

Using the legendary Fender T-style guitars as a leaping off point, Bill's T-Deluxe model sports an offset body which balances beautifully and adds a more deluxe feel than your average Telecaster. What does remain is the versatility of a great Tele pushed even a touch further with the inclusion of the awesome sounding T Blade pickups. These pickups capture elements of Strat, Tele, and P90 pickups all rolled into one. Articulate, great string to string balance, and some oomph and bite when you want to dig in a little.

Played acoustically, this roasted Alder bodied T Deluxe has a lively response with tons of snap & sustain, reminiscent of a great vintage Tele. The '59 Soft V neck carve, 6155 frets, and 12" radius bring a more modern feel and playability to the overall vintage feel Bill has created with this guitar. 

Plugged in there is plenty of classic Tele twang and bite in the bridge position and that killer hollow, round, Strat neck pickup-like tone in the neck position. You can easily pull anything from Jason Isbell worthy roots-rock tones to Frisell-esq clean tones from this guitar. It's really up to you, your aesthetic, and of course, your hands and your rig.
