Description

When it comes to Hans Brentrup's instruments, we're more familiar with his mandolins, several of which have passed through our store over the years to great acclaim. But he's also a fine builder of 1920s-inspired 6- and 12-string guitars, as we can see with this Grand Concert 12-String we have on consignment. With an airy, twangy tone that hearkens straight back to 1960s psychedelic folk, this guitar was meant to play wide open chords in the first position. While there isn't any more room to go down on the saddle, it plays well as is. There are a few cosmetic dings and chips in the finish that are difficult to photograph, but it remains in good structural condition otherwise. Priced with hard case.
