Description

The Collings 001 14-fret is a fingerpicker's dream guitar. Often considered the most overlooked model from the pre-war era, a 14-fret 00 offers what many consider the perfect balance between large and small-bodied guitars. We've heard them flatpicked and fingerpicked, and they hold up equally well in both styles. This 001 all-mahogany is built on Collings' "Traditional" platform. Earlier this year we had a satin-finish model in stock, and now we have this one with Collings' ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. It feels and looks like the chime-y tone machine that it is. The first of these models came and went before we had the chance to hype it on our website -- here's your chance to grab the newest and most exciting model to come out of the Collings shop in many years. Priced with TKL hard case!
