Collings D-42 Madagascar & Adirondack #30,000

Sold

Description

As the leading dealer of Collings' instruments, TME is proud to host their 30,000th flattop guitar -- a sensational D-42 constructed by master luthier, Bruce VanWart, using the best set of Madagascar Rosewood and Red Spruce in the Collings wood locker. The pearl inlay is exceptionally colorful, and it's echoed by the tasteful abalone peghead border (a nice little crown on the head of this princely guitar!). It's hard to conjure up enough adjectives to do justice to this guitar's tone. Suffice it to say, if you're a fan of that clear, focused Collings boom -- you would find endless enjoyment whiling away the hours with this guitar. The voice is deep & rich, with a laser-like focus in the midrange. As befits a guitar of this stature, it's paired with a Collings handcrafted vintage-style hard case.
