Description

It’s no surprise that the Collings I-35 LC has shattered expectations of what a truly great 335 style guitar can be. Lucky for us, we’re reminded quite often that this rings true every time we put our hands on one.

If you’re looking for more of a “no frills” version of the flagship Collings semi-hollow electric, look no further. Sharing many of the quality features of its fellow I-35 models like the beautiful tobacco sunburst finish, aged white top and back binding, and the quintessential late 50s neck carve, this particular guitar sheds some of the common aesthetic adornments, presenting a vibe of an elegant yet approachable instrument that still delivers like the best of them.

An unbound dot neck rosewood fingerboard and complete with a matching unbound headstock gives the guitar a more understated look reminiscent of its early electric spanish ancestry. Outfitted with a great pair of Lollar Standard Wind humbuckers, this I-35 can handle your clean-to-scream tonal palette with ease.

Well loved and used by its previous owner, this used Collings I-35 LC shows wear on the hardware, light scuffs and scratches scattered around the body, and wear in the finish by the upper strap button. The frets are very clean with little wear and the setup is spot on.
