Collings MF5 Birdseye Maple Honey Amber

Description

Gorgeous new Collings MF5 mandolin just into the shop! So what makes this one NAMM worthy? Halfway through the photo gallery, we think you'll discover the answer. We've learned from NAMM shows past not to walk past Birdseye Maple mandolins without grabbing them: wood like this simply doesn't come around very often, and it unfailingly results in the most powerful instruments you'll eve hear. This is a true do-it-all mandolin, but the Birdseye body and Red Spruce top place the focus on power and projection. This thing is loud, and it'll power through any ensemble with the richness and chime that have come to be synonymous with the voice of a Collings. In the perennial favorite "Honey Amber" finish, and upgraded with Waverly tuning machines. Priced with TKL hard case!
