Description

Stunning MT2-V hot off the bench from Collings' workshop in Austin. The MT2 has become a staple in the mandolin world for being the most consistently excellent sounding axes out there. The addition of a varnish finish is that final leap in the tonal spectrum, providing more bell-like sustain and overtones than its nitrocellulose counterpart. This wolf in sheep's clothing looks about as traditional as it gets, but has all the smooth playability one would expect from a top-tier modern instrument. Collings mandolins are in the hands of some the most accomplished musicians in the scene, and the MT2V is the finest example of what they have to offer. Priced with a TKL hardshell case.
