Description

TME welcomes our second Carpathian spruce topped mandolin by Collings in to the shop! Characterized as a close tonal equivalent to Adirondack, we have noticed Carpathian tends to be a bit sweeter right out of the box. This particular instrument has a strong, complex high end and a tight bass with an extremely quick response. The perfect finish work is only outdone by the setup, which is silky smooth all the way up the neck. With a more "Loar-ish" brown burst than we are used to seeing, this modern feeling instrument has just the right touch of vintage vibe. Priced with Collings TKL case.
