Description

"The guitars are finished to look like real instruments made by a real person, not poured out of a mold on the other side of the globe. All custom guitars are designed in collaboration with the players who use them - professionals, beginners, and in-between." -Creston Lea

Made a few hours north of TME in Burlington, VT, Creston builds each guitar to the customer's specs. Those customers include the likes of Kris Delmhorst, Jaleel Bunton (TV on the Radio), Mark Erelli, Ian Mackay (Fugazi), Jay Farrar (Son Volt), Zack Hickman (Josh Ritter), Henry Kaiser, Michael Millard (Froggy Botton Guitars), and dozens of others.

Our latest Creston Lea guitar is a stunning Sherwood Greed Thinline T model equipped with a pair of Jason Lollar's legendary Imperial humbuckers. Love it already...

Creston's guitars are a brilliant mix of attention to detail and functionality. His instruments are gorgeous, play and sound great - but - we'd still feel perfectly comfortable dragging it to gig after gig. It's a guitar for guitar players, so to speak - a musical partner that's in it for the long haul, and a damned fine partner at that.

We love how these guitars put a spin of a familiar model. Love Thinline Teles but never really loved Fender's Wide-Range humbuckers? How about some of the most lauded pickups in recent memory instead paired with a top-loading T-bridge? The resulting tones are stellar. Muscular, open, and articulate. Mix that dynamic range with an incredible feeling instrument, one that's traditionally more subdued, and you start to get what Creston is up to with this guitar.

This is a Tele that would make any blues, jazz, country or rock player very happy, no doubt. Well made, gorgeous looks and tones...what's not to like? Priced with deluxe embroidered gig bag.
