Fairbanks F-20 Aged Finish

Sold

Description

We're dipping our toe further into the pond of distressed acoustic guitars with this incredible F-20 from Connecticut's Dale Fairbanks. Although this isn't a slavish bench copy, per se, Dale's own 1936 L-00 was the inspiration here--and the results are remarkable. The relic job is beautifully executed and completely done by hand (Dale has also added a couple nice touches, like the lacquered bridge, ebony nut and tinted pearl in the headstock veneer). Sound? Forget about it. This thing is wide open and responsive, with the great balance and snap of a 1930's guitar. Priced with red-line Harptone case that matches it perfectly!
