Description

"Originally my work was design, modification, repair, and custom building. I guess you would say the objectives were durability, performance, and tone." - Leo Fender

This fantastic Limited Edition '50s Telecaster is perfect for players seeking who want a slightly modernized, though vintage inspired, Telecaster. A 9.5" radius and 6105 frets ensure the overall feel and playability are a breeze, while the '11/56 Offset V carve is incredibly comfortable (.915-.975"). It should be noted that this carve feels smaller than those numbers imply, as the shape doesn't have excess shoulder to it.

Like some of the great vintage Teles that've passed through the shop, this double bound Tele is snappy, acoustically loud, and has great sustain. There's a light-yet-solid feel to this one which we find really desirable (how the notes feel under your fingers). It sounds big, glassy, and bold plugged in - exactly what you want in a great Telecaster, right? Great top-end but not piercing, etc...

We continue to be super impressed by the guitars the Fender Custom Shop is sending us. This gorgeous, mojo-heavy Charcoal Frost Tele is certainly no exception - what a killer Telecaster! Priced with hardshell case.
