While a lot of the guitars Fender had on display at the 2020 NAMM show were one-of-a-kind creations, they also had quite a few straight-ahead builds available - but - don't let these straight-ahead guys fool you, they're phenomenal guitars and as jaw-dropping as their one-off cousins! Case in point? The '60 Lake Placid Blue Telecaster...

Given that Jimmy Page, Steve Cropper, Michael Bloomfield, and Robbie Robertson all made incredible, some would argue career-defining, music on a rosewood board '60 Tele, it seemed a no-brainer to snag this beauty from the show. Simply put? This '60 Tele looks, plays, and sounds an awful lot like an old guitar with a more modern 9.5" radius thrown in for good measure. 

The aging is very tastefully done, it's very loud acoustically, it's lively, lots of great snap...an incredible guitar that reminds you how much can be done with a stripped down, focused design. Priced with hardshell case.
