"The vision was clear—to build hand-crafted custom guitars with the best tone, looks, and playability available." - Don Grosh

Years ago, we visited Don at his NAMM show booth - the year he was unveiling his new Electrajet Baritone. Even in the cacophony that is the NAMM show, we knew this was a special instrument. Given we were pressed for time, we didn't really investigate why this baritone was so good, we just knew it played better than any other baritone we'd ever encountered, and that impression stayed with us all these years...

We finally got one of these baritones on order with Don based on that initial impression, and we're very happy to report that we're every bit as blown away as we were all those years ago.

The first thing we noticed was just how lightweight this sunburst beauty is - 6lbs 9oz - though it somehow feels lighter than that in-hand (it also balances perfectly). The next thing we noticed was how there's zero reaching with regards to the lower frets. Baritones introduce a little bit of a reach for folks used to playing standard electric guitars - not bad, mind you, but those cowboy chords feel a touch further away. Not so with this baritone...it quite literally feels and plays like a standard electric guitar (albeit with wider fret spacing).

Ahh...18 frets. By relocating the bridge and using an 18 fret neck, Don has created a 28 1/2" scale baritone that is unbelievably easy to play. If you're into baritones as much as we are, we're confident this thing is going to blow you away too.

Loaded with a pair of TV Jones Magnatron pickups, all the low end growl you could ever want is paired with a sweet top end and beautiful upper midrange chime. We were left wanting for nothing, honestly.

Skeptical? We hear you...but give this Baritone Electrajet a shot and tell us we're wrong. :-) Priced with hardshell case.
