In the market for a new Strat? How about a lightweight (7lbs 3oz), incredibly resonant, tone-filled one with several upgrades, built by one of the best boutique builders in the biz? No-brainer, right? 

Don Grosh's NOS Retro model looks and feels a lot like an old Stratocaster, albeit a more refined one. The 50s soft v-to-c carve (.850"-.950") nails the feel of a real 50s Strat (we've been lucky to have a few pass through the shop). This is a very loud and snappy guitar with tons of sustain. Plugged in, this guitar proves itself to be very versatile thanks in large part to the clever blend control and bridge pickup base plate (a la Telecasters). There are no anemic bridge pickup tones on this guitar. On the contrary, you're presented with fat, stinging, beautifully compressed bridge pickup tones and all the classic Strat "cluck" and chime you could ever want in the other positions.

Condition: Very good+. There are light finish marks on the back and a few minor indentations scattered around the back of the body. Very, very minor fret wear on the first two frets (barely visible). The pickguard shows pick marks, as to be expected. It should be noted the guitar comes with a set of white pickup covers, knobs, and 5 way switch tip (a black Tele tophat knob is currently installed). The neck is smooth with no dings save for one minor ding on the headstock. 

Guitars don't really get any better. Effortless playability thanks to some of the best fret work we've ever seen (and that's all of Don's guitars, truthfully). Priced with custom fitted hardshell case.
