Grosh Guitars is celebrating their 25th Anniversary this year and we couldn't be happier to help them celebrate! 

As we've mentioned before, we're huge Michael Landau fans and recently saw some footage of him playing a gorgeous cream colored Strat with what looked like two humbuckers set into a tortoise guard. Truthfully, anything he plays sounds unbelievable, but this guitar really caught our eye visually as well as tonally...so of course we asked Don to do his version of it. Seemed like the perfect opportunity to combine these specs with Don's 25th Anniversary package/run of guitars. 

Aside from Don's extremely high quality build, finish, and setup work, the 25th Anniversary guitars feature 1-piece, highly figured 5A Birdseye Maple necks, bullseye neck dots made of a black outer ring and abalone center dot, a 25th Anniversary rear headstock logo along w/Don's personal signature, a custom tooled 25th Anniversary case with embroidered logo, and lastly a 25th Anniversary CoA. This particular guitar is also the first NOS Retro to feature Don's own G-90H pickups, complete with chrome surrounds and a white pearl center. Excited yet? You should be...

The real question here is obviously the pickups - how does this thing sound?

Remarkable and extremely versatile. There are elements of a P90's midrange and bite, but mixed with the snap and twang of a Tele and the fat, woodiness of a great Les Paul neck pickup. The 3-way switch, master volume, tone, tone setup really lets you dial in any shade of bright and snappy to warm and round you want. 

Playability and setup? Guitars don't really get any better. Effortless playability thanks to some of the best fret work you're likely to see (and that's all of Don's guitars, truthfully). 

Condition: Near mint. 

We had to giggle a little when playing this guitar into a clean (and pushed) Carr Telstar. Of course it's amazing! Why? A) It's a Grosh B) Of course it sounds awesome and is super versatile - Landau is onto something here (per usual). Can't recommend this enough. Genius.
