Description

"The vision was clear—to build hand-crafted custom guitars with the best tone, looks and playability available, and to build them from the from the ground up, from original design and concept to full production of the necks and bodies." - Don Grosh

This gorgeous, gently used 2015 Grosh is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to pickup a new T-style guitar from one of the best builders working today.

Upon picking up this lightweight beauty, the first thing you'll notice is the feel of the neck. It's chunky, though not overly so, and has an incredible satin finish that feels a lot like a well-played, vintage neck. Don's fretwork is legendary and this Hollow T shows no fret wear at all.

Unplugged this guitar is loud and resonant. Plugged in, you're treated to some of the fattest Tele tones going (likely due in part to the mahogany body). Think: LP Junior crossed with a Tele. The bridge pickup has a touch of P90 growl (in addition to the classic Tele chime) and the neck pickup is quite Strat-like at times.

Condition: Excellent. Very little signs of prior ownership save for light pick swirls on the guard and a few finish smudges near the input jack - not a scratch, not a ding, just very light smudges of some kind. The setup is excellent.

Looking for the ultimate thinline Tele that can cover a wide range of tones with exceptional playability? This should be at the top of your list. Priced with hardshell case.
