Description

"Building guitars with your own hands, as good as possible and beyond, is nothing a career counselor suggests in high-school (at least not a responsible-minded one). Guitar making is more a calling than a profession, but it is not about 'more, more'. Our constant craving is better, better, better."

We're thrilled to have a pre-owned Huber Krautster II in the shop!

This excellent condition 2014 Krautster II sports a stunning Worn Copper finish. We simply can't say enough about Nik Huber's finishes, just incredibly beautiful. The satin finished top (and neck) melds perfectly with the open-pore/satin finish on the back of the body to create a very unique playing experience. Flawless builds coupled with the "raw" feel of the woods used...if we could get this finish on every guitar we own, we would!

This guitar is extremely resonant, quite loud acoustically, and sustains for days without the aid of amplification. Plugged in? Punch. Articulation. Power. The splittable Haussel made bridge humbucker in combination with a Haussell P90 neck pickup yields a ton of different tones - classic rock, Tele-esq twang, even fat jazzy neck tones are possible with this setup.

Condition: Excellent. There is some light worming on the side of the body (where the guitar rests on your leg when seated), one small indentation on the top, and pick marks on the guard and north of the neck pickup from energetic strumming. Frets are near new, and the setup is fantastic. Electronics work as they should with no issues.

If you're in the market for an exceptional rethink of a Les Paul Jr/Special, you really owe it to yourself to check out a Huber! Priced with a deluxe hardshell case.

**Please note: The satin finish on the Krautster is meant to age / patina as time goes on. It will become glossier in spots that see high use (strumming arm, for example). It's a difficult finish to keep spotless, which is intentional and by Huber's design.
