Huber Rietbergen Custom Redwood Top

Description

"Building guitars with your own hands, as good as possible and beyond, is nothing a career counselor suggests in high-school (at least not a responsible-minded one). Guitar making is more a calling than a profession, but it is not about 'more, more'. Our constant craving is better, better, better."

This stunning Rietbergen was featured at the 2019 NAMM show and made an impression on all that played it, us included of course! Named for Nik Huber's wife's family name, the Rietbergen is an heirloom quality hollow-body constructed of a carved Redwood Top and carved one-piece Mahogany body that incorporates a center block into the design. It's a jaw-dropping guitar in person - the build quality and attention to detail are flawless and the satin finish on the back and neck make this ultra-lightweight guitar feel instantly comfortable. Sterling silver Celtic Knot inlays along with ebony knobs, truss cover, and switch tip round out the deluxe appointments - an of course the one-piece Redwood Top is a show-stopper on this guitar.

Paired with a set of gorgeous sounding Lollar Goldfoil pickups, the Rietbergen has a complex, rich, and surprisingly versatile voice. Open, airy, and chimey are all terms that come to mind, though it can still pack a punch when you crank your amp. (be sure to watch our video demo).

Just a remarkably cool guitar that would satisfy both players and collectors looking for an instrument built by a master at the top of his game. Priced with hardshell case.
