The satin finish, comfortable neck carve, and light overall weight work together to create an instant connection with the player that we found super inspiring and fun. We can't stress enough how easy this 12 string is to play! It feels and reacts more like a 6 string guitar than any 12 we've ever played. There's typically an element of struggle that accompanies playing a 12 string - the neck is too big, the spacing a little too wide, or sometimes, the spacing is too tight (Rickenbacker anyone?). Curtis Novak's take on the extremely popular gold foil pickup produces both chime and punch, warmth and clarity. All the classic 12 string tones and then some are easy to achieve thanks to a clever switching setup: a standard 3-way couple with another 3-way that brings in the middle pickup. Sure, it'll do Byrds, Petty, Beatles, etc...with ease, but it should be noted that this Duo handles overdrive incredibly well for any players who prefer to add some grit to their jangle.
