One of Koll's flagship guitars - a beautifully rendered Gretsch Orange, TV Jones and Bigsby equipped Duo Glide - just in!

We're total suckers for a well-done roundup orange and Koll's take has the perfect amount of gold undertones to give it an aged, classic quality that we really love. With this Gretsch-influenced Duo Glide you get all of that undeniable "Gretsch cool" but with radically improved build quality and playability. To be sure, this is not a Gretsch clone. There's more of a late 50s Gibson / rock n roll vibe to the Duo Glide which really expands its versatility. This combo of iconic brands, weaved together in a way that only Koll can, results in an incredibly cool, vibey, musical and unique instrument. 

The neck carve feels fast and easy to play in both lead and rhythm roles, and ultimately familiar - somewhere between an early 60s ES-335 and a Gretsch. The setup feels great and the Bigsby works perfectly.

The TV Jones Classic Filtertrons nail that classic Filtertron chime, midrange, and output. Setzer, Chet....more rock and/or punk leanings...tons of players have called on these pickups (and this tone) for years. What's so cool about this Duo Glide is that you're able to access all of these classic tones without navigating some of the "quirks" an old Gretsch has (don't get us wrong, we love a vintage Gretsch like the next guy, but they do have their share of issues, no?).
