The Koll Super Cub is one of our favorite models from master luthier Saul Koll. Why you ask? Simply put, it's the type of guitar that reminds you of why you picked up an electric guitar in the first place - way back before you cared about specs, weight, fret wire size, pickup wire, etc...all the nerdy stuff we love to get into as seasoned players. You just wanted something that looked cool, was fun to play, rocked hard, and made you stand out from everyone who was playing Strats or Les Pauls. "I picked up my first Harmony electric at a guitar store in Minneapolis In 1994. When I plugged it in I was immediately drawn to the bold punchy sounds emanating from the tube amp before me. I immediately bought the guitar intending to use it in live performances for a couple alternate tunings I was doing at the time - under the stage lights, it was terribly out of tune and unwieldy so the H19 went back in its chip board case and there it sat, unseen and unloved.

You can imagine my surprise and joy at seeing the Koll Super Cub hanging on the wall at TME. The Koll Super Cub is like the Harmony H19 reimagined and reborn.
