Monteleone Grand Artist (USED)

Description

John Monteleone is known for building stunning mandolins, but boy, does this one take the cake. A gorgeous, violin-inspired finish is further accentuated by wood and binding upgrades - something not often seen on the Grand Artist models. Although the exact year is unknown, we are speculating this one was made in the early 2000's, as the sound is brighter and punchier (more "Loar-inspired") than some of John's later work. The condition is excellent with signs of honest wear, and the set up is impeccably smooth all the way up the neck. If you have been waiting for a special Monty to hit the market, look no further - this mandolin is one-of-a-kind and represents the very best John has to offer. For an in-hand description, ask for Jordan - TME's resident mandolinist. Priced with a custom Paganoni "Loar-era" case.
