Description

We're excited to be stocking Northfield's new "Calhoun" mandolins -- a no-frills instrument constructed with early 20th century flattop mandolins in mind. You'll find the same high-quality worksmanship as you will in the rest of the Northfield lineup; and many of the tonewoods found on a Calhoun are locally sourced (maple & walnut). Great woody sound and terrific playability. Long story short? These are a game-changer for players interested in an American-made mandolin priced under one thousand dollars. Upgraded with arm rest and "Michigan Koa" pickguard. Retail price includes gig bag.
