To guitar cognoscenti, the name Roger Sadowsky is synonymous with the heavyweight players who've famously used his instruments throughout their careers - you know, the cats. The A-list. Will Lee, Marcus Miller, Jim Hall, John Abercrombie, Pat Metheny, Lee Ritenour, Lionel Loueke, Keith Richards, Walter Becker, Tal Wilkenfeld, Andy Summers, Kurt Rosenwinkel...we could go on, but you get the point. These are musician's musicians. The real deal. You can likely imagine how good Roger's instruments must be if this is the roster of folks playing them, right? Well, we're here to tell you - they're that good. 

There's something about a Sadowsky - the feel, the exquisite build quality, the playability, the tones...they're very alive, lightweight, resonant instruments, ready for whatever you throw at them. The short-scale SS-15 is a hollow-body guitar that shares many of the same features as the Sadowsky Semi-hollow model, but with a more traditional jazz vibe, tone, and appointments. Its thin, 1 3/4" deep body has a more immediate acoustic response than a deeper bodied instrument will produce - a feature that really shines when it's time to plug in and introduce some volume to the situation (reduced feedback). The custom wound Sadowsky PAF style humbucker delivers gorgeous jazz tones - warm and fat, yet always clear and articulate (check out the video link to hear what we mean).
