Description

Thrilled to have our next batch of Joe Yanuziello's highly regarded guitars trickling in!

In our humble opinion, these are game-changing / eye-opening guitars. Case in point? Some fantastic local players were in the shop the other day, new to Yanuziello guitars, and within quite literally 10 seconds of playing this new batch of guitars, were floored.

The build quality of Joe's guitars is exceptional. Every detail is thought out and masterfully executed. The way the pickguard flows from the bass side of the neck and catches the curve of the bridge pickup; the lines on the domed ivoroid knobs; the elegant bridge and tailpiece; the pickup covers....all of which Joe makes himself...the diamond fingerboard inlays, tortoise binding, purfling....these guitars are truly works of art.

What can't be underestimated is how good these guitars feel in hand. They're smaller bodied guitars and weigh next to nothing (between 5-6lbs). Combined with the short scale length, they're effortless to play. So physically, they feel amazing in hand. But by "feel" we also mean, does it have any soul? Do you want to play it or just stare at it and appreciate its beauty?

These guitars have proven time and again to possess a very special personality, one that pulls you in and is rewarding, inspiring, and utterly addictive. Slinky and responsive with a wide dynamic range, these guitars excel at clean to lightly overdriven tones. To be sure you can hit it with a higher gain amp or pedal, and the results are wonderfully low-fi thanks to the Fralin/Yanuziello single coils (somewhat DeArmond / gold-foil esq), but clean to lightly overdriven will have you shaking your head and laughing at how beautiful it sounds.

The tones from the Fralin/Yanuziello single coil pickups are articulate, nuanced, fat, and warm. There is a complexity to the tone of these guitars that's very appealing to our ears. You can achieve Frisell-esq clean tones all the way to swampy, loose-bass, pushed blues tones with ease. Did we mention that these guitars weigh between 5-6lbs? Just an amazing playing experience overall.

Don't hold out as these guitars sell quickly, the word has gotten out. Priced with a Yanuziello Ameritage case.
